SAVOIR-FAIRE HANA YUZEN

The colors and patterns of handmade Hana Yuzen represent an aesthetic for which the Japanese have long been known. These acid-free, handmade papers are based on feudal era kimono designs, yet the popularity of the patterns is timeless. Continuing the 15th century tradition, colors are carefully hand screened one at a time. Savoir-Faire chose indigo blue as a focus for the six unique patterns available: Crane in Flight, Ocean Waves, Florentine, Flower Blooms, Clouds Aloft and Golden Circles.
